Who is Little Von Loo?

One evening in Maresieas, Brazil my boyfriend and I were talking when suddenly a verbal miscommunication turned into 3 words that would change my life forever. Brad turned to me and said "little von loo?" I lit up like a child, I was smiling up at him, glowing. "is that you? Are you little von loo?" he said. I loved it, he could see it in my eyes, no pet name had ever been so spectacular.

That was the beginning of the name, what I did not know was that would inspire a project that would touch the hearts of many. It was a cold and sunny winter in Manhattan Beach, California. Brad and I had chosen a flocked pine for the centerpiece of our living room. This was our first Christmas together, the house was newly decorated and I wanted it to be the very best; the most cozy and romantic holiday ever. I began making ornaments with pinecones, glitter and ribbon bows, all sorts. I really took a liking to creating the most ornate bows and when it was all said and done, the tree was a complete work of art.

Later in January I went to meet with two of my closest girlfriends, Malin and Tessa who had decided to have a crafts night at their place in Venice. We spent the evening watching reality TV and making beautiful hair clips with pearls, feathers and chain link. Malin was studying at FIDM at the time and after wearing one of my clips to school the following day she was inundated with compliments… I saw the way she glowed from flattery the way I did when Brad first said the words "little von loo" and everything clicked. Hand made decor for the hair.

I was now on a mission to spread love and beauty to women around the world.
